چکیده
The level of heavy metals in soybeans samples were evaluated to ascertain their likely health risks the Katsina State populace. Atomic absorption spectrometry method was employed for evaluation, while three senatorial zones state used sampling. Using methods adapted from United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), population determined. results have revealed mean concentration (mg/kg) decreasing order concentrations be Zn (range: 1.204-1.432), Pb 0.658-0.998), Fe 0.563-0.687), Cr 0.128-0.151) and Cd 0.041-0.046), with Mn Ni below detection. computed non-carcinogenic consumption 1 (THQ HI>1). cancer risk lies beyond threshold limit metal being major contributor violation. It may presumed that Soybean study add manifestations population.

Heavy Metal Accumulation in Soybeans Cultivated in Iran, 2015-2016
Background: Due to environmental contamination in recent years, contamination of food chain by heavy metals is not far-fetched. The purpose of this study is to determine heavy metals in soybeans cultivated in Iran to monitor the food chemical contaminants. Methods: To assess metal contamination, four varieties (Sahar, Katool, Williams, and M7) of soybean cultivated in Iran, were collected. Met...
متن کاملHealth Risk Assessment of Heavy Metals in Soil from the Iron Mines of Itakpe and Agbaja, Kogi State, Nigeria
The study evaluates associated health risks of heavy metals in the soil to inhabitants of two mining areas of Nigeria. For so doing, it collects and analyses nine homogenous soil samples for their lead, copper, cadmium, zinc, and chromium levels, using AAS. The samples are then used to calculate health risks to adults and children. For adult population in Agbaja community, the calculated hazard...
